Dual Booting Mac OS and Windows

I'd like to dual boot but cannot find a guide here on how to do it, I would prefer not to have to erase windows but I will if I have to, if anyone has a link to a guide like this for the latest version of mac os, please send it or tell me where I can find it on this site.

Pretty much just looking for a guide that will let me dual boot windows and catalina using integrated graphics, preferably without having to erase windows.

Hi there, take a look at the Multi Boot Section you might find what you are looking for there:

The principal is almost the same for most versions of macOS but for Mojave and Catalina since they convert the HDD/SSD to APFS they must be different from other versions of macOS.

Back in the day when El Cap, Sierra and High Sierra were mainstream OSes I had to install macOS first then I would install Windows afterwards otherwise I would have ended up in a never ending loop on "Windows cannot be installed in the disk" error or something like that.

I have installed Ventura on the 5290 with open core v0.8.7 config.plist as follows: LauncherOption = True LauncherPath = Default Should I install Windows next on a separate partition? OC guide recommends to remove the MSR/Recovery/Windows partitions that the installer made. As I am new to dual boot, are there anything that I should be aware of?

If you plan to dual boot on a single drive, you should create a partition for Windows and once you reach the installer, select the partition which you created for Windows and then delete it. Once deleted, select the Unallocated partition and continue with the install.

Once it's installed, install the drivers and configure the system. Map the Windows Drive for OC.

That's a long process. But as long as it works for you, all good.
