Unfortunately, AMD Laptops are not supported.

Right. I also tried on my SkyLake Desktop, but the screen paused at a No Entry icon and all the texts were broken. Any idea what that might be?

Yes, that indicates that the root volume was disconnected. This happens because the installer could not find the USB any longer. The second reason is due to the unsupported SATA Controller. This can happen if you have set your SATA to IDE/RAID mode. Such issues are mostly seen on Laptops and OEM Systems. As it is a separate issue from the topic this thread is for, please create a new thread. Also, update your profile details for your Desktop.

I tried applying some fixes by myself and now it just restarts :-(
