When running macOS Sonoma, the animation is sharp and freezes. When you turn on any video or expand the Safari window, everything starts to freeze.

Why are you using two bootloader?

Use OpenCore. It's more efficient. Once you switch to OpenCore, provide the correct EFI.

I didn't quite get it. I'm new to this topic. Which loader should I use in parallel if I have done everything as in the Dorthania manual.

Start with this guide. Just adjust the settings for Comet Lake

And what is the difference? According to the Dortania guide, I also use opencore. What is in your guide that is in Dortania is the same. EFI is configured via ProperTree, you have it via OCAT. I'm downloading via OpenCore. Which two bootloaders can we talk about? According to your guide, which you threw off, the system does not load. Freezes on attached below screen

There is a difference that is why it was mentioned what guide to follow. The two bootloaders is what you're using. Double check the EFI you attached. It has OC+Clover. That is neither recommended by us or Dortania. If you really think you actually followed the guide linked above, better attach the EFI to check.

Another fellow user on this forum has the same situation as yours and had a long debate regarding this. Consider reading the reasons mentioned:

Not sure where you read that. Z590 Chipset supports both 10th (CML) and 11th (RKL) CPUs and CML Graphics is supported on supported processors.

So that means we're running on Mars then? You should read the link you mentioned carefully.

As per the link:

Graphics support

Since there is no sane reason to use an IGPU-inclusive Mac model with not working IGPU, CPUFriend is generally required. IM201 vectors generally fit as they provide up to 4 GHz stepping. IPG detects the CPUs and shows their temperatures and load as well.

  • CML IGPU works fine without connectors as a video decoding accelerator for Polaris. Using CML IGPU exclusively will require manual connector patching. We did not test that thoroughly as IGPU-only configurations are prone to errors.
  • RKL IGPU is unsupported and will likely never be. Booting with RKL IGPU enabled with or without connectors results in boot failure (black screen). Can be disabled by WEG in macOS exclusively through injecting disable-gpu into an IGPU device. This can let other systems use IGPU acceleration to off-load tasks.
Read it until you get it. In case if you want to know, the link says CML IGPU works fine as headless and for display, connector patching (framebuffer patching) is required. This is absolutely normal and is applicable to most of the generations out there. Not sure why you read it as unsupported. xD
