Yes, does your Laptop has four antenna wires to connect on the BCM chip you bought?

How does it matter when your Laptop doesn't have four antennas? This is the reason, you were asked to buy the another module.

It doesn't work like that, unfortunately. Just laying down the antenna will not work. In notebooks, the antennas are located on the bezel side mostly and the cable routes from there to the WiFi/BT card.
