MSI Z590I UNIFY - Intel Core i9-10900F - 64GB RAM - AMD RX 5700XT - WiFi/BT - Thunderbolt 4 - OpenCore

It has the RP05.PXSX address.
That's what I needed, changed the address from RP21 to RP05 in the SSDT and now Hot Plugging works! I just couldn't be sure of the address since it doesn't mention Thunderbolt in IORegistryExplorer.
Many Thanks!!

Well, it's normal for TB4. As there are no drivers for TB4 yet in Big Sur yet.
Many Thanks!!
Enjoy :)

Anyone else having problems upgrading to 12.3? While in 12.2.1 everything worked fine. After updating, it keeps shutting down within about a minute or two.

Does that sound about right?
Your kexts are outdated. Still, you haven't attached your PR files.

I will be getting a 10900k and Z590i UNIFY motherboard soon.
Question for @EliteMacx86
  1. can you share your scrubbed EFI? (my test Z590I wasn't working)
  2. does the 11th gen motherboard work with 10th gen iGPU? (HDMI, DP, and macOS intel iGPU features work)
  3. does thunderbolt work in macOS and Windows without any special configurations?
Thank you for your hard work!

Extra: I will be installing an nVidia GPU, which will be disabled in macOS and enabled in Windows. Do you recommend using OpenCanopy for boot slection, or a different tool for chossing OS at startup?

can you share your scrubbed EFI? (my test Z590I wasn't working)
No, it's your responsibility to create one using the guides published here.

does the 11th gen motherboard work with 10th gen iGPU? (HDMI, DP, and macOS intel iGPU features work)
Yes, it does.

does thunderbolt work in macOS and Windows without any special configurations?
No, in that case, only on Windows. For Thunderbolt to work on Mac, you need to follow the guide published here.

Is there any reason not to? xD

Windows should be booted using its own Windows Boot Manager and macOS via the OC. That's the correct approach.
