HI all.
I succesfully installed Sonoma on Ryzen 7 5700G with internal GPU.
The only issue I am facing now is when I connect my monitor with HDMI cable everything works fine. The monitor goes to sleep after time set in settings and wakes up with mouse move or key press.
But when I connect the monitor with DP once it turns off it never wakes up and I need to restart PC.
Precisely: I am talking about Turn display off when inactive setting not sleep entrie system.
Sleep works good and the system is waking up without issues and the monitor as well.
Any ideas if what this can be? Monitor issue or system?

Is the Cable original?

If i understand correctly, the issue is that the monitor doesn't go in standby mode after inactivity right?

There are monitors which has settings so check that first.

The issue is that the monitor does not return from the standby mode. It goes off but never goes back on.
It affects only turning screen off when inactive.
When I put all system to sleep mode it wakes up without issues.
What do you mean "original cable"? This is DP 1.4 cable which gives 165Hz refresh with max 2560x1440 resolution that my monitor can handle.
No issues with that on Linux and Windows it only affect MacOS so I try to find out where's the problem with DP may be.
As I mentionned HDMI does not reproduce this issue.
As for monitor settings Auto Power Off is off Sleep is Off Auto Detect on/off doesn't matter

Are you using the factory DP cable?

Cable seems to be good. Can you re-explain whats the exact issue?
I'm afraid I can't explan it in any more clear way than I did before.
In Settings I go to Lock Screen and set Turn display off when inactive for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes of inactivity monitor goes off.
I expect it to turn back on when I move or click mouse or press keyboard button.
But it does not.
It remains turned off and the only option is to restart computer.
Unplugging cable and plugggin back does not help.
It doesn not look like cable issue. It is system that cuts the DP power off and can't bring it back when usb device intends it to wake up.
