SOLVED HP 600 G1 Core i7 No Sound

Need help. I just successfully install Sonoma on HO 600 G1 DM, unfortunately my sound (audio) is not working at all with appleALS. Then i try with voodooHDA with no luck either. The hardware is ALC221.

You'll have to fix the HPET for HP systems. See Fixing HPET for more information.

So i just reconfigure my EFI and using appleALC kext. I also doing HPET fix with SSDTtime (choose C) but the problem still present. As of now it's recognize as ALC221 but the three alcid (11,15,88) not even work.

For information, i use OCLP 212 to patch my Intel HD 4600...

Maybe someone can help me to solve it

So, I started it again from the beginning. Build EFI and fix my HPET. Using alcid=88 and put it on Device property. It's finally work with internal and the headphone sound, but there's no sounds (audio) icon is not on the desktop...

Did you patch the IRQ? If not, that also must be patched for the Audio to work, especially on HP and Dell systems.

You mean the hotkey overlay icon?

Yes, the sound icon beside wifi icon on the up right corner side... Again, i patch accordingly as your tutorial to patch HPET. This time i use 15 and it's finally there (icon).. thanks you for your help

As of now, i presume it's all sorted... HP 600 G1 DM (Core i7-HD 4600).

Here, I attached the screenshot and my working config.plist to let you know. If you have any suggestions to make it better, I'll do it

You shouldn't be requiring ResetLogoStatus and FixupApplefiImages quirk. The Framebuffer isn't patched correctly. Map the USB ports.
