Overview​

If you have been using Clover bootloader and have made a switch to OpenCore bootloader, then there are a few chances that you'll encounter this error when booting via the OpenCore bootloader. If you're using OpenCore bootloader as a regular bootloader and tried Clover bootloader to test out, its likely possible that you'll encounter this error after switching back to OpenCore bootloader after testing with Clover bootloader.

Requirements​

Following are the requirements for enabling Intel WiFi/BT on macOS Sequoia. Please ensure you meet the requirements before proceeding with this guide.

Bootloader	OpenCore. Please ensure to use the latest version to avoid issues.
Tools	OCAT or any equivalent .plist editor

STEP 1: Add the required parameters​

The first step is to add the required parameters so that the firmware can load. Please note that this step is crucial and without adding these parameters, the macOS will not boot. To add the parameters, follow the steps below:

1. Mount your ESP.
2. Open your config.plist and navigate to the Delete section and add BridgeOSHardwareModel under the 4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14 UUID list in the NVRAM section of your config.plist:

CAUTION: Values and letters are case sensitive.

STEP 2: Boot using the new Configuration​

Once you have performed all the above steps, you'll need to boot with the updated configuration. Simply restart your system for the applied changes to take effect. It is recommended to reset NVRAM twice at least.
