How to Find PCI path of your PCI Devices

An EliteMacx86 Exclusive Guide - This guide covers finding PCI path of your PCI Devices for various hardware fixes.

Overview


To fix certain hardware, you may need the PCI path of your PCI Device. To find the PCI path of your PCI Devices, there are two ways:
  • OpenCore Configurator
  • Hackintool
Finding PCI path using OpenCore Configurator


1. Download OpenCore Configurator from the Download section.
2. Open OpenCore configurator.
3. Go to DeviceProperties.
4. Go to Add Tab.
5. Under the Devices section, you'll see "List of PCI Devices" tab. Click on it and then select "Add all PCI Devices" and all the PCI devices will be listed in the Devices section.
6. The PCI path will begin with PciRoot.

Finding PCI path using Hackintool


1. Download Hackintool from the Download section.
2. Open Hackintool.
3. Go to PCIe Tab
4. Under Device Path, you can find all the PCI Devices connected to your system.
5. Right click on the PCI path in the Device Path column and select Copy Device Path.
