Before you start to install, we recommend you to find out the complete system specification which will speed up the installation process and you can complete the post installation, very easily. Without knowing the complete system specification, you'll not be able to install or fix the issues which you encounter during the installation phase.
This is a quick guide for finding out the complete system specification.
Here's what you'll need to find.

Bluetooth, if available

To find out the details, you can use various methods. Choose one or more depending on your choice.
Using Windows
If you're having access to Windows installation, probably for most of the time, you can find the complete system details using System Information. There are several other Applications too. But this works Out of the Box and recommended one.
Open Run
Type msinfo32 and press enter
System Information will get displayed
Look for the following
Explanation
In this case, the Motherboard manufacturer is Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd and the model no. is Gaming B8.
The Processor is Intel Core i3-7100.
The BIOS of the motherboard is F7, from AMI. It's not mandatory but it's good to know what BIOS you're having, in case you need to perform an upgrade.
Expand the Components Tab
Navigate to Sound Device
Look for the following
Explanation
In this case, you can see two Audio Device, NVIDIA and Realtek respectively. The first one is a HDMI Audio Codec which is not needed. The second one is the main Audio Chip which is Realtek ALC 1220. The DEV_1220 describes the Codec name. It can vary from system to system along with the manufacturer name. In case if you've a Conexant, you'll see a conexant Device.
Under the Display Tab
Look for the following
Explanation
In this case, the Graphics Device is NVIDIA GeForce GT710. The VRAM is also shown in Adapter RAM. Depending on the Graphics you use, it can vary from system to system.
Expand the Network Tab
Navigate to Adapter
Look for the following
In this case, you'll find many network devices but we don't need them. We need Ethernet and WiFi. A valid adapter will have a VEN&DEV. Here, it's Intel I219-V, which is a Ethernet.
Expand the Storage Tab
Navigate to IDE
Look for the following
This is generally not needed but as advised, it's good to have all the system information before you begin. This section becomes helpful when you don't see any drives at Disk Utility. In this case, it's a Intel SATA Controller. The VEN&DEV is being displayed so you can note it down.
Navigate to USB Tab
Look for the following
For some systems, USB can be non-working. To fix those, you'll need to use the appropriate kexts and patches. The VEN&DEV displays the information. You can use it and can make the USB working. In this case, two USB Chipsets are being used by the Motherboard. ASMedia and Intel respectively.
Once you've the complete information, you can proceed with reading guides, install and then configure post install.
