Hello members,
Need your advice for a new intel CPU to use latest macOS as Hackintosh.
I've Haswell i5 4460 with native intel graphics (HD4600) and currently running macOS Monterey and understood that it's the last macOS release supported on Haswell processor.
I have basic daily use, can someone suggest on the intel CPU & graphics card combo?

Thanks.

A few things to consider:

- What's your budget?
- Are you going to buy a brand new or used item?
- What kind of work do you have from the system? Is it some video editing, audio production or simply office work?

- Budget - upto 600$
- Brand new
- No video editing, no audio production, Just casual work and only light gaming (no high end/no heavy graphics games... prefer integrated graphics, but budget graphics card will also do to support hackintosh in case integrated isn't supported on intel platform)

Thanks.

Total = $578

From 11th Gen onwards, the IGPU isn't supported so definitely a Graphics Card is needed. There's no point in getting anything below 12th Gen. due to price to performance ratio. So, another $100-150 for the GPU. RX560/RX6600XT. Whatever works for you. You can definitely grab some good deals on eBay.
