there is no option to change dvmt in my bios. however i followed this guide https://gist.github.com/JJTech0130/bd9564858e4cd4f7d94ea4b4657660e2 and changed the values of dvmt as per guide.

You'll likely have to inject EDID.

After injecting edid GPU works flawlessly. Is connector-typing patching or busid patching necessary?

If you're having display with every port, then its not necessary to do the further patching.
