Yes, it works for both. I was about to Edit. When using my script, The Microphone works, but the voice is like i'm screaming and is too loud with some noise in the background.

Internal. External does not work at all.

With Mojave version, using layout ID=2, no Audio. Using High Sierra version, using Layout ID=3, Audio is same like earlier. No Headphones, The Mic quality is very poor and is too loud.
