5GHz WiFi on a native Apple card doesn't work properly

I’m not using the AirportBrcmFixup kext because this is a native Apple card though

so, just to clarify, you want me to run that arg without the kext or with it?

The bootarg will not work without the AirPortBrcmFixup.

Yea, realized that

Well, I’ll try that kext once I get back home

Sorry for the delay, got busy with other stuff and kinda forgot about this lol

Loaded the kext and the boot arg, the issue is still there but seems to be worse (not pinging the router on 5GHz at all now)

And this is the only thing that changed

Also, ever since swapping to the Mac Pro SMBIOS, I stopped getting updated in the system settings app, need to download each update manually every time.
Any way to fix that without switching to a different SMBIOS?

Updated EFI folder

Connect to 5GHz. Press and hold Option Key on your Keyboard and click on WiFi. Provide a screenshot.

It doesn't want to connect to 5GHz networks anymore with this kext installed, even tried splitting my 2.4 and 5GHz networks into separate SSIDs
