5GHz WiFi on a native Apple card doesn't work properly

Yea I'm using a 5GHz network, it just defaults to 2.4GHz sometimes because when it does connect to 5GHz, it only gets like 1Mbps and 100+ms ping to the router.

But as I mentioned above, I'm not getting these issues when I boot into a Linux distro, so its not an issue with the card or my adapter.

Create a new configuration from scratch. You're still using an old OC version.

Moreover, the configuration is not as per the guide. You've injected a lot of Drivers which is not applicable for your system. A cleanup is required.

Read here:

Don't really think that its an issue though.
OpenCore doesn't even load it into the config.

Did a major cleanup & updated to the latest OpenCore version

Yes, but the configuration should be as clean as possible

Did a major cleanup & updated to the latest OpenCore version

Here are a few issues

Make the following changes to your config.plist

- Remove both the SSDT and use the SSDT from official OpenCore package
- Remove the HDEF Device from DeviceProperties section. You're injecting two different layout IDs at two different places.
- Kexts loading order is not correct. The important kexts should load first
- Set KernelArch to Auto
- Set PollAppleHotkeys to Disabled
- Set the LauncherOption to Disabled
- Set BlacklistAppleUpdate to Enabled
- SMBIOS is not correct. Set it to iMacPro1,1
- Drivers loading order is not correct. Important Drivers should load first. Remove all the unnecessary drivers from the directory and in the config.plist
- Remove HfsPlus.efi and use OpenHfsPlus.efi.
- Set FirmwareVolume to Enabled

Once you're done with the changes, save your config.plist. Remove all the .plists under /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration directory. Restart the system and reset NVRAM twice. Attach the new PR files.

1. Last time I used the iMacPro SMBIOS, screen recorder wasn't working and some DRM content was broken even after applying all necessary boot args + it was using software decoders for whatever reason. Switching to a Mac Pro SMBIOS fixed so many issues for me.
2. OpenHfsPlus.efi is slower than HfsPlus.efi (as stated on OpenCore's guide) + I'm not using any HFS+ partitions at the moment
3. The SSDTs I'm using already came from OpenCore's guide
4. There's nothing wrong with setting KernelArch to x86_64 but sure

Also, its probably worth mentioning that when I upgraded to Ventura, I did a full clean install & I already had all the hardware I currently have in the PC
So clearing system configs probably won't do a thing other than reset some of my settings.
But I'll give it a try

(WiFi issues existed when I was using the iMacPro SMBIOS as well)
