Yes, that's true. It's new and rare.no, this codec is a bit different.
The Headphones switches automatically now. This is pretty good. But the distortion is still there. When using Jack Fix, no change at all. Used Layout ID=3@EliteMacx86 , try this, Layout-ID=3.
Mic is working from beginning. But not like other Codecs. Now, it's working fine like it should. Internal Speakers is fine. Microphone is fine. But Headphones are having issues.@EliteMacx86 , Mics not working?
Do you need to run jackFix to make it work again? After few minutes, the Audio is not in Headphones. Sometimes it doesn't even switches to Headphones.
Use AppleHDA Patcher, select ADI 1988B.i've a new Codec from Analog Devices.
I run it couple of times. Sometimes, it works without the script. Sometimes, i need to run the script, plug, no Headphones, then unplug, run, plug and then it appears. And then i run it again but distorted sound. Sometimes, after removing Headphones, it doesn't switch to Internal Speakers.Do you need to run jackFix to make it work again?
Are you sure?Use AppleHDA Patcher, select ADI 1988B.
