Reset your BIOS settings and then check. The Card should not show 0Gb/s.
Did a reset for BIOS settings, now the card doesn't show. This is with disabled TB SSDTs and default enabled thunderbolt bios settings.

Correct. It's the original firmware and not flashed.
Also, if it's original firmware, how can it show the bus? Bus is activated with a TB SSDT for Bus activation or when the custom firmware is flashed.

Is a good sign.

TB is still activated, but the path is not correct. Provide your BIOS settings to check further.

Right? With the original firmware and with no TB SSDT's in it, that what I wondered too.

Here are the TB bios settings.

But it's really interesting to know, why with the original firmware bus was activated.

Your BIOS settings for TB is not as per the guide. Setup the following.

  • Set GPIO3 Force Pwr to On
  • Set Security Level to SL0- No Security
  • Set IOMMU to Enabled for DMA Protection
Reset NVRAM twice and provide new PR files.

Changing the TB bios settings got it to recognized audio interface! But now once the computer connects to the audio interface the whole computer freezes. We're making progress!

Im working on getting the PR file for this.

EDIT: attached the PR files. This is with new TB Bios settings and disabled TB SSDTs.

EDIT 2: Maybe we didn't make progress lol. Now it doesn't recognize the audio interface.

EDIT 3: God this is confusing. Sometimes it'll recognize it on the reboot. Sometimes it doesn't.

Now, you can enable the SSDTs.

Have patience. Don't give up too soon.
Much success! Enabling the SSDTs makes it recognize it better and gives me the ability to hot-plug it! I don't know how to thank you, you rock so much!
