Upgrade from Mavericks to High Sierra finally successful, but unstable system

Checked your EFI from the last post and its not upto the mark. You should grap an example config.plist from below and then make changes in your config.plist or just prepare a new config.plist from scratch (preferred).


After that, you can map the USB ports and patch the ACPI and all problems should be fixed.
 
Rewriting the config.plist won’t help if ACPI patching fails with error messages as reported. The existing one can’t be so bad if the system sometimes runs for hours without problems. What I really need is a postinstall guide for this hardware. By the way, the camera isn’t working, but I’m not so beautiful to need that.

Once you fix the config.plist, things will start getting on track. Whether to follow the instructions or not, is entirely yours decision.

Regarding the camera, check how is it connected. Mostly, its connected via USB and you would need to fix the USB ports for that.
