black screen after starting opencore, no usb, then reboot

hey all, i'ved generated my own SSDT files using SSDTtime, and followed the dorania guide for comet lake twice now.

i mapped my usb ports using usbtoolbox and followed the dortania guide. after selecting "install macos ventura", i get through verbose mode and then reboot, without ever reaching the start of the installer. I've had hackintosh for a while, so not sure what could be causing this. usually, following the dortania guide is pretty straightforward, but i feel something changed somewhere and now i'm stuck.

If the system rebooted, it means there was KP. Attach the EFI you're using to boot.
