Z77X-UD5H <> Titan Ridge 2.0

I tried connecting the Thunderbolt SSD to the card when the system was on, but it didn't showed up.
After rebooting the PC, it was shown on the desktop, so I guess hotplug isn't working and Thunderbolt devices only show when doing a 'reboot' or startup with it already attached.

So, yes, that means the Hotplug isn't working. Which firmware you flashed on your Titan Ridge? The one which is meant for Mac Pro 5,1?

Hi,
I'm using a firmware NVM 33 made by CaseySJ & Elias64Fr
Code:
DESIGNARE-Z390-NVM33-Elias64Fr
But I can flash: NVM 43, 50

That's the latest one.

Have you shorted PIN 3 and 5?

Hi, just updated to NVM50 Mod from CaseySJ for the Titan Ridge 2.0 Card, this one is also seen by my system.
I'm running indeed a link between PIN 3 and PIN 5.
What I now need to do is to make an SSDT for further working HotPlug according to CaseySJ's guide.
You need or can use 'HackinDROM' but I'm stuck with replacing the:

Code:
External (_SB_.PCI0.RP21, DeviceObj)
External (_SB_.PCI0.RP21.PXSX, DeviceObj)
External (DTGP, MethodObj) // 5 Arguments

Yes, the next step is to create a SSDT for your system.

Start here:

Just follow the steps to create the SSDT, skip the drivers part.

But mine is so different from the screenshots in you're guide...
BTW do I need SSDT-DTPG in my ACPI folder

Just change the addresses and you're good to go. Yes, that's required.

Got some working SSDT now for HotPlug and it works. Only problem now is that my Audio Card won't load it's driver and isn't recognised.
When not using the SSDTs it's working fine.
