Good morning y'all,

I just upgraded my monitor from a 34" Acer Predator 3440 x 1440 to a 49" Samsung G9 5120 x 1440 (LC49G95T) and I'm not at all impressed by Mac's hi res support (or I'm doing something wrong).

I'm running my 6900XT that was driving 2 x 27" 1080p + 1 x 34" 1440p and now it's just the 49" on DisplayPort

I checked display settings and it's set to "more space", ALT+ clicking on Scaled shows the resolution is 5120 x 1440.

I've plugged in a Win 11 machine running a GTX1080 and it's perfect. I just booted this (hackintosh) into Ubuntu and it works perfectly at 5120 x 1440 - text is nice and crisp.

In Mac it looks like you're looking at CRT screen on a video (without the flicker)

Any one have any suggestions as to what I can tweak or try?

Upload a video from your phone/camera to check. Also, attach your PR files.

Here's what it looks like on mac.Mac. I need to play with the video to upload, it's too big.

Attaching a phone shot and screenshot.

PR files incoming.
