Hi everyone! I'm trying to install macOS on this Lenovo ThinkPad T490 (specs in the signature), but I can't get iGPU acceleration to work.
I tried following the Dortania guide, setting 00009B3E as platform-id and 9B3E0000 as device id, it freezes just before the login screen with these colors/lines on the screen.
I tried changing the IDs according to Whatevergreen's Intel guide for Whiskey Lake laptops, setting 0900A53E as platform-id and A53E0000 as device-id, same result.
I tried a combination of those, even spoofing Kaby Lake or Coffee Lake UDH620s, 630s and 655. Nothing works. The only way I can reach the desktop is by removing the device-id property, but I don't have GPU acceleration of course.
I tried changing SMBIOS from MacBookPro15,4 to 15,2 or even 14,2. No changes.
I also tried DVMT patching, I can set either 256MB or 512MB in the BIOS, but it doesn't work either.
I'm at a dead end, I've been hackintoshing for 7 years now and I never ever faced an issue like this, furthermore a lot of people on this very laptop configuration have macOS running perfectly since Catalina.
Does anyone have any idea? I'm attaching one of the various plist configurations I tried. Thank you!
