Apple released iOS 12.0.1. Should you care? Well, if you're using an iPhone Xs or Xs Max, yeah, you should. And here is why.
Major issues:
Pretty big improvements with this update. I'd say it's still a good update, even if it's only for the #chargegate issue. So, personally, I would recommend giving it a try.
Major issues:
With this update, Apple fixed the so called #chargegate issue, which was nothing more than a bug in their USB security policy. And now it should be fixed. So if this bugged you with iOS 12.0, you might wanna update your devices.
Another issue that people were having connecting primarily to the slower 2.4GHz network instead of the 5GHz one. Now, that issue should be fixed as well.
Somewhat minor issues include:- restoring the original position of the ".?123" key on the iPad keyboard. Previously it was on the right side of the emojy key. Now it's on its right. Same for both portrait and landscape orientations.
- fixing an issue where subtitles did not appear in some video apps.
- fixing an issue where Bluetooth might become unavailable.
Pretty big improvements with this update. I'd say it's still a good update, even if it's only for the #chargegate issue. So, personally, I would recommend giving it a try.
