iOS 12
Maybe a long overdue update, it's finally here. And it's awesome! So I'm gonna run you through the most important features to get an idea whether or not you want to update. I'd personally recommend that, especially since the update promises to bring old models like iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and similar, a big improvement in the performance department.
Most important features include:
1. Grouped notifications
2. Group FaceTime (not live yet)
3. A new Measure app
4. A new Stocks app and Voice Memos app
5. SIRI can now take Shortcuts
6. Screen Time
7. New Animojis with tongue detection (requires iPhone X and up).
Grouped notifications
You can now group notifications by app. Which is something that you can say it should have been there a few years ago. But it's still good thing that they finally decide to add it. One of the best and most useful features in this update.
Group FaceTime
Apple implemented the ability to FaceTime up to 32 people at once. It wasn't wasn't present at launch. It should be ready in the next upcoming updated (iOS 12.1).

Measure app
The Measure app uses Augmented Reality to measure (pretty accurately) the objects around you.
Stocks app
If you're interested in the Stock market, or if you're really curious how Apple is doing, they have now updated their Stocks app and I have to agree, it does look pretty good.

Voice Memo app
Pretty self explanatory. Now redesigned with a gorgeous black & red colour scheme.
SIRI Shortcuts
If you've got a lot of things to do in the morning, and you don't wanna forget anything, you can now ask SIRI to run those things for you using the new Shortcuts feature.
Screen Time
Screen time is a new feature of iOS 12 that allows to put aside whatever you were doing on your phone and take care of your real life.

New Animojis with tongue detection
Might look like a gimmick to most people, but Apple managed to get this done pretty well, compared to the competition.
