In previous excursions into software adaptations, I've ported OSX and macOS to a few systems:
Latitude e6230, e6430, e6320
Inspiron 3847(my current multi-boot switcheroo)
iMac9,1 , MacPro1,1, Mac G5
optiplex 3010, optiplex 7040
The inspiron has triple boot windows linux and osx. I tend to use Linux more often than the other systems.
On varied systems, I've had success installing OSX Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave, and Catalina.
The Inspiron has the AR9565 that I would like to make work with High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina and Big Sur. I suspect I'll need to move over to Opencore.
Anyway, I look forward to asking many questions and perhaps providing answers if the opportunity arises.
