Hey all,

I have been piddling in Hackintosh on and off many years, my last one was a OSX 10.11. I am circling back to the world of Hackintosh with two laptops. A Dell Latitude 5500, which is fully working on Sequoia 15.5

I have another one HP Probook 470 G5, same model as in https://elitemacx86.com/threads/hp-...550u-i-16gb-ram-i-intel-uhd-graphics-620.721/ thread

This one has been a doozy. I can not get the internal LCD to work properly. Some of the things I tried make it recognize the HDMI and VGA fine and I was able to install OS via that route, but some bork the accelaration and at that time LCD works, but machine is horribly quirky (slow to respond, jerky mouse, etc) and I can't controll the brightness at that time.

I will have some more time this long weekend, so I am looking forward to your help.

Hello,

So, is the acceleration not working?

If acceleration works, then I have a black screen on LCD. If it doesn't, LCD works. A good thing is I have ScreenConnect installed, so at least when it happens, i can remote in over Internet, instead of looking for a HDMI monitor.

Under ACPI, I have the 4 from your post in 2021

Then for Device properties:

Kernel:

I tried different device-id based on articles here and Internet, it either does not make a difference, UHD620 is seen, with proper VRAM and accelaration and brightness and LCD resolutions listed or it breaks those and LCD works, but no accelation, monitor shows as unknown and 0 for VRAM

EDID patching might be required in your case.
