GUIDE How to Enable NVIDIA and AMD HDMI/DP Audio [Clover/OpenCore]

Hello,
This is a great guide, but I have yet to get my sound to come through my HDMI, HDMI doesn't even show up in my sound properties.
I am running Sonoma 14.3.1 with my GTX 1060 accelerated, I have sound for head phones or speakers from the motherboard, but no HDMI showing up at all.
See notes.

I have tried for a week not and added the device from gfxutil and added the lay-out-id and still no HDMI audio from following this guide or the guide on github, they say it works with whatevergreen, but it sure doesn't show up in my system and yes I read the notes, but they say over at Github no fake anything needed.

Seems like you forgot to read the notes.

I finally figured it out on the HDMI audio, no adapters required at all, I was reading all the guides over on Github over and over and what I read was no fake kexts should be required.
Well I went the other route against the guides and used VoodooHDA and AppleHDADisabler kext and first had to input in the plist my HDAU for the GTX 1060 and now all Audio ports show up in Sonoma, x4 HDMI ports which is right, because the 1060 I have has 1 HDMI, 1 DP, and x2 Dvi ports.
All working great now.

Well, that works if you really need the HDMI/DP Audio. But using VoodooHDA is not recommended at all.

VoodooHDA is not recommend, that is true, but in opencore a Hachintosh is not supported either, what ever works right, I spend a lot of time staying in motels, so I'm not bringing along my 1000 watt 5.1 surround sound with me from home, so hdmi is what I need.

Yeah, as long as the purpose is served, its fine.

Thank you
