HDMI audio issues with open core (i5 8250u, ALC256) on Asus X507UAR

Remove Device ID and add the following Kernel Patch.

Arch: Any
Identifier: com.apple.driver.AppleIntelKBLGraphicsFramebuffer
Comment: 0x591b0000, 0105 instead of 0306, HDMI
Find: 02040A00000800008701000003060A
Replace: 01050A00000800008701000002040A
Enabled: Yes
Should we try this - I'll use fakePCIID.kext and intelHDMIinjector.kext, boot and take the PR files. Would that help somehow?

So this patch disables graphics acceleration for me, but still only internal audio, no HDMI audio. Attaching latest PR files.
Then your Laptop requires FakePCIID.

Well, then in such a case, you don't need the Kernel patch.

Yes seems like. I think we've tried literally everything there was left to try but to no avail. I saw a dell laptop with similar specs use CodecCommander and get it working on Monterey. Do you have any knowledge of how to do that? I tried using that kext but apparently there's a specific way it needs to programmed for Alc256

CodecCommander is useful for built-in Audio.
