Aaaaaaaaaaand..........we have a winner !!

I kept my USB key, removed the Monterey HDD, and put the Big Sur one in.
The AIO display stays black as usual, but the Acer G245H came to life. 1920x1080 as expected.

In Monterey, with same boot USB key as said, the 2 screens work...but both with 1024x768...

Using Hackintool, I saw a slight difference between BS & M : the cpu type is known by BS, but unknown by M.
Soooooooo I'm thinking about 2 possibilities :
- Monterey is definitely not supported by Ivy 3770, or
- It needs some "cpu driver" or kinda.

So far, both systems are unusable : Monterey's 1280x1024 integrated display, or Big Sur's 1920x1080 external display without the integrated one, both suck.

Well, that's because HD 4000 is natively supported till Big Sur and after that, you'll have to patch it using OCLP.

But now, as you're on Big Sur, try to patch the framebuffer and check whether your internal display works.

I already tried to mess with OCLP : this thingy always says "there are some patches available, wanna install them ?".
I tried 2 times : each attempt led to a system crash...Recoveries were killed too, so I ended up with 2 more full installations. Heh !

Since yesterday, I'm in framebuffer patching, trying to understand that.
Hackintool keeps telling me "there are 4 ports" => IRL, there are 2 only : LVDS one and an external DP port.
So, I need to find where/how LVDS is hardwired/connected/used... spending time to try one by one lol

I'm not really "on Big Sur" : I thought maybe I can learn something with it, before switching again to Monterey.

Hi there !

After several hours of Internet digging, I finally ended up to understand the main difference between Monterey & Big Sur !
Apple removed everything needed to know what an Ivy Bridge is, to Monterey.
This is why Hackintool kept saying "unknown Intel generation", but Big Sur was not.
Yeah, I thought the other way : no more HD4000 support (meaning about graphics driver).

Soooo...I tried Chris1111 patch "HD4000", and then, Monterey displays "Ivy Bridge" instead of "???" about Intel generation...

Right now, Hackintool see the AIO screen as "HPQ 8300 AIO" and the external "Acer G245H".
This last one displays the correct resolution, 1920x1080.
And the graphics acceleration works too !
Well, to be honest, it needed to have the AIO EDID injected. Yeah, I injected the screen his own EDID. Otherwise, Monterey keeps saying "unknown monitor". Oh...ok. Don't care.

But I'm stuck with a last thing : alone or used at the same time than the Acer, the AIO screen goes black, just before the desktop.
It will take a couple hours to try "framebuffer con type" gibberish yadda-yadda, until I find the correct one.
A few pictures will follow.

Monterey has some slightly different requirements so that could be causing crash. Also, before patching with the OCLP, everything must be proper in terms of EFI.

Here's the Framebuffer patching guide:

Can you describe it more better?

Can you describe it more better?
I'll try. XD

So, as I said, the AIO is typically kinda a laptop, whole inserted in a 23 inches screen (1080p).
On the backside, there is one DP output.

So far, I tried :
- Acer G245H : correctly detected, displaying 1080p ;
- LG 4K HDR : detected as well, displaying 2560x1440 ;
- BENQ GW2270 : same as above, displaying 1080p.

The problem is : whatever patch I do, whatever changes I do about manually modifying ports, busesID and the yadda-yadda => the 2 monitors display fine until the asking password come : then, the AIO turns black and there is a slight light blinking slowly.

You think "oh no you're dumb, everything's working here" !
Ehehehe...the desktop is currently displayed onto the BENQ, so the snapshot.
In the same time, the HPQ is black ^^

Are you using Big Sur or Monterey?

Provide the updated PR Files.
