because I followed dortagia's guide

Now I've repaired the EFI a bit and the boot freezes, what should I do?

Enable UblockFsConnect and remove IgnoreInvalidFlexRatio. Its required for Broadwell and Prior.

Reset NVRAM twice and check if it boots.

I’m a semi-experienced Hackintosh tinkerer, but not very experienced.
I know enough to know that I know nothing.

Well...I recently had a bad turn on my current Hack adventure.
I was upgrading a z97 Gigabyte - Big Sur machine into my latest plan.

OSX Ventura 13.5
OpenCore 0.9.4
Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite AC
Intel Core i9-10850K
XFX Radeon RX580
SMBios: iMac20,2

Unfortunately, I made a few mistakes.
It’s taken me two days to try to formulate my tale and my questions.
So, please bear with me.

It seems that in my upgrade that I didn’t remove the original SSD and included 2 NVME SSDs into the new machine.
Using a USB installer, I installed Ventura OSX on one of the NVMEs and unplugged the original SSD.
(I have since replaced the original SSD with a new unformatted one)
While preparing the computer after the installation, I did something and I was probably moving a little too quickly, because I cannot retrace my steps.

At any rate, afterwards, the NVME will go thru the boot process until the log in screen and the mouse is frozen at the upper left of the screen. No keyboard or mouse activity at all. Dead on the water.

In addition, when I attempt to boot from the USB Installer, I get a repeated...
[AHCI][PRT][00170000] AbortCommands::5381:port 0 - called, deviceWithError 0, errCode = 0xe0030005
then finally, the black screen with white Circle with a Slash through it and the message,
"support.apple.com/mac/startup"

My question(s)...
How should I proceed?
I can't fix the NVME because I can't access it.
I can work with the USB Installer.

Any recommendations?

Many thanks.

if you have a cd / dvd / player / burner disconnect it during the installation process
it might help
This particular error has been reported many times related to SATA optical hardware.
