I am planning to build a Hackintosh on my system, and I would like to ask for your advice, especially about whether I can install macOS Sequoia and use it for iOS app development. My goal is to have a dual boot setup with Windows + macOS.


My device model:

• Acer AN515-51-78ML

My system specs:

• CPU: Intel Core i7-7700HQ @ 2.80 GHz
• RAM: 32 GB
• GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 (4 GB)
• Storage: 2.77 TB

Here are the things I would like to know:

• Is it possible to install macOS Sequoia on this system?
• Will I have issues with the NVIDIA GTX 1050 regarding display output, graphics acceleration, or general usability?
• Can Xcode run stably enough for iOS app development?
• What should I pay special attention to when setting up Windows + Hackintosh dual boot?
• Do you have any recommendations regarding BIOS settings, disk partitioning, OpenCore configuration, or SMBIOS selection?
• Since this is a laptop, am I likely to face issues with touchpad, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio, or battery indicator?

NVIDIA Optimus isn't supported on macOS. You'll have to check if the output ports are tied to NVIDIA or IGPU.
