Hi,

This post is sort of a help post but also me trying to reach out and see if anyone else has this configuration and has run into this issue. I have narrowed down all of the current issues with my hack. For some context, I was using two GPUs, a 1070 TI and an R9 270x in Sonoma 14.2. I was using OCLP for the R9 270x and my BCM94352HMB network card. I had gotten it to a point where everything worked perfectly; however I just ditched the 1070 TI and the R9 270x for a 6700XT and now I am running into a situation where the 6700XT will not display MacOS with root patches installed, even just for the network adapter. I have updated OCLP and applied root patches several times (having to bless my last sealed snapshot in recovery to fix boot when it doesn't output) and am wondering if anyone else has managed to make this configuration work. Bluetooth still works but wifi does not (I use ethernet), so it isn't the end of the world to me (I am just losing handoff features) if I can't fix this but if someone already has this configuration and can confirm that OCLP can work with NootRX that would be nice. I can provide more information if necessary. Thank you very much for any help. :-) Using a b450 tomahawk and a ryzen 5 3600.

Never tried actually with OCLP and NootRX.

So, if i understand correctly, the problem is that you're using BCM94352HMB and running macOS Sonoma. As the support is removed for these BCM based cards following Atheros, you need to use OCLP to patch the root volume. But after the patching, the 6700XT fails to output the display.

Are you using the latest commit of NootRX? What brand the 6700XT is of?

Yes that is my problem exactly. I am using the latest nightly build of NootRX and the card is an XFX Speedster Merc 319 6700 XT

Hmm. Interesting. So, the GPU works when the system is clean and not patched? If so, you can try different port on the GPU. Make sure you do not have WEG or NRed.

I tried multiple displayports (as I have two monitors) and the behavior was the same. I don't have WEG or NootedRed
