[SOLVED] Dell XPS 9360 "ASF2 Force OFF"

Hi, I installed Monterey successfully on my Dell XPS 9360 (i7-8550u/UHD620/QHD Display). But now I've got a problem: almost always when I use my laptop on battery the laptop just dies, no power at all, and I cannot even turn it back on. I need to plug in the DC adapter to get it back on (USB-C does not work in this case). In the bios power events I can see the following error: "ASF2 Force OFF".
Also I have to mention that the problem occurs after login. If I unplug the adapter after login it works fine (I tested it using the maxium frequency test of Intel Power Gadget to draw power from the cpu.)

Bios Settings:

• Sata AHCI, SMART reporting ON, [*]USB BOOT and USB External enabled, [*]Allow Dell Docks ON, [*]Thunderbolt Disabled (Security Level: No security), [*]USB Powershare ON, [*]Unobtrusive mode ON, UEFI Capsule update ON, [*]TPM OFF, [*]Computrace OFF [*]CPU XD ON, [*]OROM OFF, [*]Secure Boot OFF, [*]SGX OFF, [*]SpeedStep ON, [*]C states ON, [*]TurboBoost ON [*]Hyperthread ON, [*]Battery Charge max 80%, Fastboot Minimal, [*]VT ON, VT-D OFF, [*]Wireless Switch OFF, [*]Bios Downgrade ON [*]Undervolting CPU -100mV; GPU -30mV

I don't know if there are any useful power log that I can attach.

Most of the settings look correct.

I have a few questions.

- Is your Battery replaced?
- Are you using a genuine Adapter?

As per the logs, AC Adapter is underpowered. Provide a picture of your AC Adapter label to determine the wattage. I would need both sides.

In addition, the current issue is the Power issue right? As the acceleration is already fixed.

Dell Battery Manager says that's it's LG branded and it's recognized as original.
(I'm gonna make some research to find out if this is a genuine lg battery)

So right now I have two adapters:
1-Dell Compatible with DC Jack (19,5V - 2,31A - 45W) this is the "Not regognized adapter" as dell uses some kind of PSU detection and it know that this adapter is not original and thus it doesn't charge the battery, it only powers the laptop.
This adapter is needed when it shuts off in macOS. When It shuts off the laptop is completly dead, the only things that makes it power on is this adapter plugged in.

2-Xiaomi mi 65w USB C, as it says 65w USB C charger, I use this everytime.

Yes this is related to the power issue.

You should buy an original Dell Laptop AC Adapter for your XPS Laptop, from Dell Store.
Even after that, you have the issue, the battery could be the culprit.

Also, by looking at macos power logs I can see that every shutdown is seen as a normal shutdown ("Previous Shutdown Cause code 5"). By looking online it should report like error 0 (power disconnect) or error -14 (power spike)

With the macOS, it could be an RTC issue. But I'm unable to understand the situation. Can you describe the exact scenario or any video to explain it?

That's weird but are you sure it doesn't happen on Windows?

Also, attach your PR files to check further. Include the Diagnostic Report folder.
