Airport WiFi on Sequoia for Laptop Dell Latitude E5550

Of course, it does not harm. But still unnecessary. If the IONetworkingFamily isn't loading, then only force option should be used. Many people just don't have the real reason and simply copy/paste or following blindly doesn't make sense.

The EFI still needs a few optimizations:
Remove ResetLogoStatus
Remove the spoof so that the WiFi chip can have the native IDs.
VT-d is still not implemented.
You should remove the OCLP-Settings entry from the NVRAM.
Why are you still using AMFIPass.kext and amfi=0x80 together? Use either one of them, never both.
You should disable the dGPU by patching the DSDT and SSDT. The -wegnoegpu flag simply hides it from the OS but still draws power.

VT-d is still not implemented?
It is implemented in the BIOS. I didn't understand what entry to use in the config.plist.

Disable the dGPU by patching the DSDT and SSDT?
No idea how to do it.

AMFIPass.kext and amfi=0x80?
Will remove amfi=0x80.

Remove the spoof so that the WiFi chip can have the native IDs?
The spoof was removed, otherwise it won't activate WiFi.

Remove ResetLogoStatus?
Need to locate where it is listed...

All these will be trialled on the EFI for Sonoma as it showed some instability crashing after a couple of hours.
Sequoia is very stable.

I was bored, so tested the EFI produced for Sequoia on Sonoma.
Surprisingly initially Airport worked within Sonoma without having to redo the procedure for Sequoia, the version of Sonoma was 14.8.3 -
It then prompted that there was a new update 14.8.4.
When I installed the 14.8.4 update Airport WiFi stopped working, so I had to redo the procedure from spoofing the network card to commenting out then running the root patcher.
The Bluetooth didn't work until I reset NVRAM.

So it definitely works for Sonoma using the same procedure as above.
Thank you for reporting but it's quit obvious that after upgrading, you must do root patching.

Oh, sorry to hear about your disability.

Implement VT-d and then repost to check. You muse use File>Export Tableset in MaciASL.
