Stuck at ChangePowerState: Finished power state transition to sleep

Hello,

I tried to install sonoma on the HP elitedesk 800 g3 mini but i got stuck at [AHCI][DISK][00170010] ChangePowerState: :2431:Finished power state transition to sleep.

And i do not know what is causing this.

CPU: I5-7500
GPU: HD630

Have you mapped your ports? If not, disable and use USBInjectAll+XhciUnsupported+XhciPortLimit quirk.

In addition, ensure that your BIOS settings are correct. Use -igfxvesa and check if you can boot the installer.

I tried with USBInjectAll, XhciUnsupport and XhciPortLimit enabled but it did not work.

In the bios i disabled:

- Fast boot
- Secure boot and legacy
- VT-d
- TPM

I enabled VT-x and allocated 64 mb for graphic memory.

Remove the Device Properties and then check. Also, the kexts are not in sorted order. It should be in the following order:
Lilu, VSMC, WEG, XHCI-Unsupported, USBInjectAll, IntelMausi

Remove SMCProcessor and SMCSuperIO for now and also add CPUTscSync.

Make sure to reset NVRAM twice and then boot. Also, is it an online installer or offline?

On the other hand, I have a RTC problem. Every time the computer starts up, it tells me that the system time is invalid with the error "RTC power loss". And every time I have to reboot to be able to use the PC normally. How can I fix this?

Seems like that was exception. But as indicated in the video guide, RTC fix might be required for some systems. Glad that you were able to fix it.

To fix the RTC problem, there are few ways but first try with DisableRtcChecksum Quirk.

I tried with disableRtcChecksum enabled but still got the error. I tried to use the dortania guide about rtc problems but there is something i don’t understand. The guide says i have to search for bad RTC regions and use rtcfx_exclude. From what I’ve understood if i use 00-FF it will solve my problem, which is true because there is no error anymore. But in that case why does the guide say that I must look for the precise region ?Is it bad to just keep 00-FF ? Will it harm my computer ?

Same problem I'm having on an EliteDesk G3 SFF. Installed Sonoma but RTC errors popup after restarting after having been in the macOS partition.

Have you tried the dortania guide about RTC clock issues ?

But in that case why does the guide say that I must look for the precise region ?

Well, that's because you need to narrow down the exact bad region instead of blacklisting the whole region.

Will it harm my computer ?

Will not harm but it can have some bad affects like regions which is used for Power Management.
