Hello all! I hope this post finds you well.

I have recently upgraded my Hackintosh to Sonoma a few days ago from Ventura, and lately, I have noticed that Sidecar doesn't appear to be working at all unless I connect my iPhone to USB via a personal hotspot.

When I connect my iPhone's hotspot to my Hack via USB, Sidecar works almost as expected - iMessage and FaceTime work, just not AirDrop, although I think it's because I am using an alpha version of Airportitlwm for Sonoma beta and I am not concerned about that. When I connect my Hack to my phone's hotspot over WiFi or to a different WiFi network, Sidecar appears to no longer work at all. I can enable Handoff and AirPlay in System Settings, but I can no longer send messages with iMessage or use FaceTime.

This would probably lead back to the fact that I am using an alpha version of Airportitlwm for Sonoma beta on the official Sonoma build, but as of writing this, there is no official release for Sonoma, and while my main suspicions are on that, I'm also thinking that there could be another issue that I don't know about.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to make a PR file, so here is my EFI folder. If anything else is needed, please let me know so I can attach it.

Take care everyone!

Was it working as expected in Ventura?

What model is the WiFi?

AirDrop is rare with Intel WiFi.

Then with which WiFi Network does the iMessage and FaceTime works?

No doubt there has been much progress on the Intel WiFi/BT but still a lot needs to be done. We have seen different cases with different hardware and models. Of course, there is no stable release yet and probably you should wait for a stable release or replace the WiFi with a compatible one instead.

Unfortunately, your configuration is not as per the guide.
