Heyy everyone, My name is Edwin Thomas
and I am new to this hackintosh building and stuffs, i tried to install mac os by seeing some YT tuts. but it didnt work on my pc
as it showed many OCS errors while booting into the bootable usb, so finally i decided to build my own hackintosh for my laptop.
so in the research process I came into this awesome forum where in which i was able to find lot reliable guides inorder to create hackintosh for our own pc's
So therefore as per the guide I have found the Basesystem.dmg as per my prefered Macos version. and then I started my work in order to build my own EFI file
and I was on my half way there to success. I have chose the needed drivers and ACPI files for my laptop processor, but I came towards a problem that is this SSDT-PM.aml file. I was not able to find this in the sample directories of the opencore release 0.9.5 folder which i have downloaded. later I came to find out that it is a unique file of each processors so its we who should make this file. I also came to find that using SSDTPRGEN we can make this file for our processor
But i find it little difficult to make this thing as I can't find useful info on YT. So im writing in this forum expecting some help inorder to build this file.

THE GUIDING FORUM IAM USING NOW

I need a well explained proper guide.. So any help is greatly appreciated.
Or else IF POSSIBLE please find me the correct SSDT-PM.aml file for this below requirements.. THANK YOU EVERYONE! HAVE A GREAT DAY! 😇😇

The guide will be refined soon. The SSDT-PM.aml is intended to be generated during post-installation. However, you can add it before the installation.

No, you don't need it during the installation.

The guide says to use SSDT-PM for IvyBridge, not SSDT-PMC.

so sir shud i delete the PMC file!?? add add the PM file later?
The guide says to use SSDT-PM for IvyBridge, not SSDT-PMC.
also how long does it take to boot macos after the installation?
