Hello, with this EFI I was able to run Big Sur without problems and almost from the first try. I wanted to try Monterey, but everything crashes into it. I tried different kexts, changed ACPI patches, changed NVRAM values, but it didn't help much. I saw on different sources that people with X79 can run everything normally, but for me everything crashes into errors.

I changed CpuTscSync to VoodooTscSync, it didn't help, I decided to install CryptexFixUP, no result
I also looked at an article on this forum similar to my case, but there was an RX video card there and I don't really understand how this EFI will behave for me.

I recently decided to install MacOS on my computer, so I'm still a newbie in this business and I ask you to explain everything in more detail.

My PC config:
Machinist X79
Xeon E5-2650V2
GTX 1070

Please help

Please understand that NVIDIA GPUs are no more go. Of course, the support is experimental and it lacks metal so its advised to switch to a compatible AMD GPU.

Your OC seems to be quite old. Try updating the OC and related kexts first.

My friend with GT1030 installed the latest MacOS Sequoia without any problems, having written the necessary lines in NVRAM (like me), but his system is newer, namely i3-10100f.
So there are most likely no problems with NVidia, here the problem is with X79.

And I also didn't quite understand the suggestion "update the OS", update (sorry for the stupidity) what?

UPD: If you mean OpenCore, it has already been updated to the latest, plus I updated Kext as you said

Well, it can be installed on a given system. But using NVIDIA is really not feasible on any macOS version, starting with macOS Mojave and later!

Update the OC aka OpenCore. Not the OS.

Attach the revised EFI to check your work!

Oh, sorry, here's the new EFI.

I added parameters to NVRAM from one site that was recommended for Monterey: debug=0x100 keepsyms=1

Now the system shows Error= and reboots (that's all I managed to see)

(UPD: nope, kernel panic in place xd)

Hello! While I was waiting for an answer, I already managed to find a solution for Monterey. I am attaching the EFI below, it works perfectly with the addition of USB mapping and the lines in NVRAM that are already written there.

I am currently assembling an EFI for Sonoma, although I doubt it will work, but nothing ventured, nothing gained))

You should not use SSDT-PM and SSDT-PLUG together. The same applies to SSDT-RTC0-RANGE. If you can boot the system without the RTC0 SSDT, remove them. Its usually required in exceptional case and mandatory from X99 chipset.

When you have a proper SSDT-PM, you should really not use NullCPUPowerManagement. When using NullCPUPowerManagement, the whole idea of XCPM becomes bogus.

Also, you should configure a proper SMBIOS. MacPro6,1 would be the best suited for your hardware!

Busy in development work so couldn't reply on time.

This looks much better than your previous EFI. A lot of things have been corrected. Good work!
