Thanks for your instructions. I’ve disabled my iGPU using boot-args (my BIOS doesn’t give me the option to disable it :)))) as you’ve told but I don’t know why it still uses my CPU for HEVC encoding 😤

Thanks for your ìnormations. I've tried it on Monterey and didn't work. But I've just found out that the Photos app does use my GPU RX 560 for exporting when I export a Memory video. It exported to HEVC 8-bit at 1920x1080. This app is by far the only app that uses my GPU for encoding HEVC

I can only find macOS 10.7 on Apple's website. 10.4.6 is pretty old so I'm afraid FCP X won't be able to open my current FCP library to export it.

I tried using Handbrake, it doesn't use my GPU at all! I tried using QuickTime, it does use my GPU (1-3%) and about 4-8% of my CPU. It is like the PC doesn't care about exporting it. Exporting took about 15-20 minutes, based on QuickTime's estimated time, though. But it's not as fast as I...

FCP X is 10.6.5, Compressor is 4.6.3 and encoding bit is 8 bit
