Motherboard
Victus by HP Laptop 16-e0xxx
CPU
AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics
Graphics
RX 5500M(got burned due to short-circuit so currenty not available(disabled))
OS X/macOS
13.x
Bootloader
  1. OpenCore (UEFI)
Mobile Phone
  1. Android
After a long time once Again, I tried to install macOS Monterey, and Catalina ISO in VMware 17, and it worked perfectly then I tried to install macOS Ventura and Catalina whichever works on bare metal directly on my laptop and I found a readymade EFI from GitHub for my laptop HP Victus Ryzen 5 5600h Radeon Graphics to boot macOS. Everything worked perfectly from Opencore Bootloader to loading into the installation environment and I also managed to erase the disk in APFS format and started installation but on restart it always gets stuck on the Apple Logo with "About 29 minutes remaining" in Ventura and "About 12/11 minutes remaining" or "Estimating remaining time" in Catalina even Keyboard, External mouse, touchpad, battery percentage, and the Internet is working via USB tethering in Safari. If this gets solved then BOOM I will land on the MacOS. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds to this thread. 🫂🙏I attached the EFI to this thread tell me if you need more info from me.👍. Edit :- Watch my success reply on 3rd page

So, you have installed it on VMware and now you want to install it on bare metal? Is that what you are trying to do?

I tried to create a custom EFI by watching the above video. Still, it can not even load up to the macOS Recovery installer :( ,,, That "Victus-5600h-5500m-hackintosh-main" EFI can easily load but sometimes it gets stuck while erasing the disk to APFS format and gets stuck on the Apple logo every time. Can you check and tell what is the problem in this "Victus-5600h-5500m-hackintosh-main" EFI ?

If you cannot follow the guide, not sure how its gonna help.

A fellow user at this forum had somewhat same issue like yours but he did a great job cause he followed whatever instructions he was given:

Attach the EFI you created. Also, what's your Boot Drive model?

I will try that forum too ... 👍

Boot drive model:- SAMSUNG MZVLB512HBJQ-000H1

(MZVLB512HBJQ-000D7 Samsung 512GB PM981a SED Encryption M2 M.2 2280 PCIe SSD (New with Warranty), MZ-VLB512C 0WD87X WD87X, PM981 Phoenix Controller, Compatible with Dell HP Acer Asus Lenovo)

Booting from 16 GB Sandisk Memory Card via CardReader

I tried to copy everything from the video to create this 👇 EFI, Because in the video there was also an HP system, so I just changed the core count to 6 for R5 5600H,
I appreciate your support. 🫡

Edit:- I have gone through all 12 pages of the above forum, and I saw that he booted successfully
But I won't need that much help because I have completed a diploma in computer engineering and I am familiar with Linux, so I have basic knowledge of OS installation.

Guide Shows that Samsung PM981 is incompatible but i have "PM981a"

That seems to have compatibility issues. Are you able to boot into the installer?

1. If this is a compatibility issue then how can I be able to install on VMWare 1000022501.jpg

2. No I am unable to boot into the installer with my created EFI but I can boot into the installer with GitHub EFI, as per the guide I won't use that GitHub EFI I will create my own EFI wisely.
This is the image of the installation on bare metal via GitHub EFI but it stuck on installation.
