This is my issue after upgrading and also trying a fresh install.

Not sure if you're new to editing. However, rendering does take time. The video seems normal. If you're having any particular issue, please describe it.

The issue is why does it go from taking 7 minutes to output it in 13.6.3 to over 30 minutes after I simply upgraded to Sonoma. I should not loose that much performance but upgrading the os. Never happened before. I’ve been using fcpx since it was released.

Now, that's questionable. Attach your PR Files to check further!

This is the efi I have found to work somewhat the best performance. If I do the sonoma broadcom wifi fix it really slows fcpx down. Just to be clear this same efi folder on 13.6.3 will output my videos very fast but once I upgrade to sonoma 14.0 it goes to heck. There should not be a increase of over 45 minutes on the one long video just by going up to 14.0. I understand a few minutes maybe but not nearly a hour. Please let me know if anything else is needed.

Please zip everything in a single file.

What if you don't apply the BCM fix?

Zipped it all up for ya.

I have tried with bcm off. I have made several diff efi folders all from scratch and still cant figure it out. I have made a complete fresh install of sonoma and the same thing. Updated kexts redid aml files. Redid ssdts. I wouldnt be here if I hadnt ran out of options or just missing something stupidly simple. This is my 8th Hackintosh and never ever seen nothing like this. This efi folder gives me the best performance in Sonoma which is terrible.

Just finished checking and its unfortunate that the configuration is not as per the guide.

Once the root cause is fine, it should be all fixed.
