Motherboard
A320M PRO-VD/S (MS-7A36)
CPU
AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics
Graphics
Picasso/Raven 2 [Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series]
OS X/macOS
14.x
Bootloader
  1. OpenCore (UEFI)
Mac
  1. iMac Pro
Mobile Phone
  1. Android
My Hardware Configuration:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
Motherboard: A320M PRO-VD/S (MS-7A36)
Dedicated GPU (dGPU): GF119 [GeForce GT 610] (not supported for macOS, but I just use it for HDMI output in Windows)
Integrated GPU (iGPU): Picasso/Raven 2 [Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series] (preferred for Hackintosh)
Problem:
When I tried installing macOS Sonoma and then boot with Nootedred.kext in the Kexts folder, the system restarts at verbose mode. Including or excluding WhateverGreen.kext or just omitting both kexts results in a boot without graphics acceleration, rendering the system unusable.( I have used latest NootedRed.ktext from git repo and I have not used both same time as it's not advised to use both NootedRed and WhateverGreen)
My motherboard lacks an HDMI port, offering only onboard VGA and DVI ports. I intend to use my iGPU for Hackintosh but for that I need to choose between UEFI and CSM in my BIOS>OS Compatibility Mode settings where in CSM or UEFI I have to choose one. When I choose CSM then only my system bootsup with iGPU and gives display output via onboard VGA.(which should be disabled as per all guidelines). Disabling CSM defaults the system to UEFI graphics mode, causing it to boot using the GT 610, which is unsupported for Hackintosh.
SO, Is it the VGA port issue that the system restarts at verbose after putting NootedRed.ktext for proper detection and graphics acceleration ??? If YES then what are the options available to fix it.

Request for Help:
Please analyze my problem and provide a solution. I need guidance on creating a proper EFI for my system that enables all functionalities, including graphics acceleration with my iGPU. I am open to using either macOS Ventura or Sonoma, depending on which is more feasible for my setup.

Specific Concerns:
dGPU Handling: What should I do with the GT 610 during Hackintosh installation, considering it gets detected even when booting via iGPU? Is there any issue with it being detected if I can otherwise ignore it?
EFI Configuration: Detailed references and guides to create a working EFI for my system.
CSM and UEFI Settings: Solutions to manage CSM/UEFI settings while using my iGPU for Hackintosh.

Due to budget constraints, I need to make this setup work. My project team requires macOS, and I am committed to making this Hackintosh functional. Any assistance or pointers from the community would be greatly appreciated.

Please, I need urgent help to get this Hackintosh running successfully. Any avice or resources will be immensely helpful. Thank you!

Ryzen is not the perfect choice. But as research was not done prior to building, it can still be done.

Attach your EFI.

FYI, the IGPU will lack encoding and several other things. If you cannot upgrade the CPU and Motherboard, your best bet is to use any supported GPU such as RX 480/580 which will give you full encoding features and will be a lot more smooth than APU.

Currently, APU has several constraints and is really not handy.

I know but I have seen many successful posts using the same processor and yes I ma tight on budget right now really to upgrade anything. I will try in some time but until then If I can make it work it will be very helpful to me. Regarding the EFI part I used a github ryzentosh pre-built EFI. I just changed the SMBIOS and core details count updated the plist and then booted via it worked installed the macOS Sonoma and then when I try to put the NootedRed.ktext it restarts at the verbose itself. (Note;- I had removed WhateverGreen.ktext before putting NootedRed.ktext as per guide on NootedRed site. But this is the issue I am facing.

Also is it the VGA Port issue ? But why doesm the system restarts. If VGA is not supported there should be no Output to the monitor right. I had asked it in the main thread.

If it's then should I use a VGA to HDMI Connector. My monitor has both VGA and HDMI connections but the motherboard has only VGA and DVI port onboard. Since the graphics card is of no use I know I can not use it's HDMI output thats why I am trying to use the iGPU. (Note:- the OS Compability > I have to select the CSM so that my system boots with iGPU. If I use the UEFI Mode then it boots my system with dGPU GT610, which is useless.

Please consider the following conditions that would help you to recognize what might be causing the error. I know this build is not for hackintosh as I hadn't planned 2years back if I would be using the hackintosh. So please help me out,

If the system just boots it does not mean it will work as expected.

Wrong approach. You should start on your own.

Start here:

I just changed the SMBIOS and core details count updated the plist and then booted via it worked installed the macOS Sonoma and then when I try to put the NootedRed.ktext it restarts at the verbose itself. (Note;- I had removed WhateverGreen.ktext before putting NootedRed.ktext as per guide on NootedRed site. But this is the issue I am facing.
You should attach the EFI you're using. Not someone's else.

The restart could be due to a Kernel panic or a low VRAM issue. Note that NootedRed requires at least 512MB.

Also is it the VGA Port issue ? But why doesm the system restarts. If VGA is not supported there should be no Output to the monitor right. I had asked it in the main thread.
It should technically just stall at boot, before it reaches the login screen.

It really depends. Never tried VGA or VGA to HDMI on the AMD APU. Try it, if it works, all good. If not, you literally have no options, other than upgrading the hardware.

Also, the NootedRed does NOT supports CSM. Only pure UEFI mode. It could be a reason why the system is restarting immediately, when NootedRed starts to load.

Hey, if I just get an new motherboard with HDMI port then is this build fine just for coding stuff on hackintosh? Or I should get a dGPU. Since changing the cpu and downgrading to a low budget intel build is not a good option is guess. You have also used the same cpu model in your videos and also enabled apu to work and they are running smoothly. What should I do, give me a solution considering the above mentioned points. Changing the motherboard would cost me less and graphics card availability is difficult also it's price is 2x of motherboard.
Once I figure out what to do , I shall follow your guide to make my own EFI and other installation regarding stuff guides, for a successful hackintosh.

Please elaborate with details for which should I go and not go for. Awaiting for your response.

APU isn't that viable and certain app will demand decoding or other functions which is broken in NootedRed at the moment. This can lead to crash or panics. Therefore, the best possible solution is to add dGPU. The cheapest options are RX480/560/570/580. These are easily available.

Please have a look on this and I am planning to buy this. Just tell me Sonoma and further more macOS versions will be supported or not. After this dGPU will my AMD processor be good enough to handle everything without any issue on hackintosh. Graphics and everything will be sorted and will it give me the best experience atleast for all my coding related stuffs. Also it will be compatible with my motherboard and processor right?

The GPU seems to be supported.

We cannot guarantee this as Apple can change the compatibility at any time!

Currently, the RX560 is supported upto macOS Sequoia.

It depends. For example, with this build, you cannot do ML/AI work. In short, it should be stable but for workload, it depends.

Regarding issue, AMD builds have crashing issue for several apps and you'll have to patch the binary for that. A guide has been already published for the same. Read below:

Graphics and everything will be sorted and will it give me the best experience atleast for all my coding related stuffs.
How can we guarantee when we did not build the system in the first place. It should be stable as other AMD systems if you follow the guide properly, provided that the hardware has no fault.

Also it will be compatible with my motherboard and processor right?
Yes, it is!

It's the RX560 from asus available in India here on amazon. Other models aren't available brand new or not at all and this is in my budget also. And it's also on dortania guide and OEM is asus so I think its good enough. Regarding AI/ML , I don't think I will be using this machine for those stuff and even if I use , I am dual booting it with linux so if macOS hackintosh has any issue, I can switch my OS to get the desired things done.

Also regarding the support thing I plan to use this setup until the release of macOS Sonoma and possibly Sequoia. By then, I should be able to upgrade to a new Mac machine.

About the hardware issues, my system is completely fine performing very well without any issues and also as per my findings this GPU shall be compatible with it completely.

So as per our discussion above, I am going to purchase this Graphics Card -

ASUS Republic of Gamers Strix Radeon Rx 560 16Cu 4Gb Gaming Gddr5

Then I will be building the EFI following your videos, threads and dortania guide for my own machine.

I will be updating here after purchasing my GPU and gathering everything to start from scratch before the installation. If anymore advice or suggestions is there please share.
