So as i mentioned in my introduction, i have a fried logic board in my 2011 model MBP 15'' leaving it unusable in its current state. I also do not have the magnetic charger needed to charge those models. However my HDD that was in the MBP is in perfect working condition. That HDD has either Leopard, Snow Leopard, or Lion installed on it currently. Is it possible with modification of my Alienware 14 (2014/2015) that i would be able to boot into that HDD? If so, where would i need to begin looking for information to do whatever modifications are needed to accomplish this? Any help is greatly appreciated, even if its simply to tell me its not possible.

Definitely, you can use that HDD and can even manage to boot it up. But before you can boot it up, you'll need to prepare OpenCore for your Laptop. However, the HDD would be really slow so you should try to install it on an SSD (at least SATA/M.2). If you have important data on the HDD, you can use it on the Alienware on Mac and can easily pull the data you need.

appreciate the information, unfortunately i dont have an SSD at the moment, my plan is to eventually migrate my Win10/Linux dual boot HDD over to an SSD. if i manage to make the mention apple HDD boot onto this alienware then i want to also move that to its own SSD as well. once that is done i want to get one of the sata cables with multiple connection points to then have 2 SSDs with 3 bootable OSs between them. ive removed the CD drive already and that allows for two HDDs to fit inside comfortably. so id like that have 2 SSDs along with a second network card of monitor mode capabilities. i want to manage this while keeping the laptop visually un-modified, because reasons.

If that's the case, you can proceed with the HDD.
