NVME SSD not showing up in Disk Utility

I have a Samsung 980 evo m.2 nvme ssd and its not showing up in disk utility when I launch it. I tried the open core troubleshooter and the one here but no luck. Any ideas how to fix this?

On a ryzen 5 4650g cpu

Some of the AMD Systems which has Gen3 lanes, do not accept Gen4 NVMe. You need to force in BIOS, like ASRock.

Does the NVMe appear in BIOS?

Samsung Drives are not recommended. Those are quite unsupported, especially the newer Gen4. Ensure the NVMe is not disabled from the config.plist and try with different NVMe.

I updated to latest firmware from samsung as said in the open core boot troubleshooter but no luck. What settings in the config.plist could be affecting this?

Try with a different disk and then check. Also, attach your EFI to check!
