Hi there, I've been attempting to hackintosh my laptop for quite a few weeks now and I got just as far as the error that says "No Packages Were Eligible For Install". For reference I am using an HP Pavilion g7-1060us Notebook with Legacy BIOS. I have tried the two standard fixes which are resetting the time and date in terminal and your BIOS but nothing seems to change. I'm not sure if this forum is still active or not but please let me know if you can help.

What OS are you trying to install? And when you downloaded the macOS?

I'm trying to install Sierra and I had just finished downloading the macOS when I got the error. Afterwards when I went to restart my computer I kept getting a Boot0ss error message after BIOS setup. Eventually I ran the program on my flash drive again and am currently on the second attempt of installing the OS. For some reason now the download time went up to 33 minutes from the original 16 and it's taken 20 minutes for the progress to go down said 1 minute.

If the download is latest, try reinstalling it. Should be normal.

I just got an error saying "

I just got another error saying "macOS could not be installed on your computer. No packages were eligible for the install. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again." After restarting I receive the same boot0ss: error message

If you're connected to the internet, disconnect it. Re-create the Bootable USB and try installing. Make sure you erase the drive, not the partition.

I erased my entire hard drive... do I need to get boot windows 10 from a flashdrive and redo everything?

You can start installing from the Bootable USB you created.
