Intel UHD 620 KBR-L iGPU acceleration issue

CPU: Intel core i5 8250U (Kaby Lake Device-id:0x5917) FB: 0x591B0000
GPU: Intel UHD 620
dGPU: AMD Radeon 5 M520 (Disabled to support new MacOS)

I have tried
AAPL,ig-platform-id: 00005916, 0000C087, 00001659, 00001B59
device-id: 16590000
framebuffer-patch-enable: 01000000
framebuffer-stolenmem: 00003001
framebuffer-fbmem: 00009000

when using 00001659 or 00001B59, I get black screen. and with other ids i get 7mb gpu acceleration.

Your Laptop might need EDID patching or your screen might not be compatible. Also, are you sure its blackscreen and not the backlight issue?

How can I know for certain and how can I patch EDID. Also how to know if screen is compatible for this laptop. I can see the backlight glowing.

Firstly, check if the external ports are tied to IGPU or dGPU. If its connected to IGPU, connect external monitor and check if you get the display. If you get the display, you can check things further.
