Hello, I recently change my GPU to Asus RX 580 from GT 710 and it is stuck in the loading screen. I tried to copy the efi of someone who made it work with almost the same specs but he used RX 580 - Nitro+ Special Edition (Sapphire) while mine is Asus rx 580 8gb. His EFI wont work on mine. I have several HDD for back-up and I can easily change EFI and Boot files. I will also attached an image of the loading screen and error.

I am stuck in the not eligible for acceleration error. I am so noob with building this and usually try to remember things after several yrs. Can you all please help me figure out what is happening? or maybe provide a working boot and EFI pls.

Gigabyte H310M H 2.0, Mac OS Ventura

i5-9400 & ASUS RX 580 8GB( i think 2304 version)

I would also appreciate if someone could provide EFI and boot files for Sonoma because I also have a working sonoma HDD using my previous GPU.

My sonoma is already working. I enabled onboard graphics on my BIOS.

What is 2304 version? Do you mean 2048SP? If so, a VBIOS modification is required.

There are two versions for RX 580. 2048sp is the lower version while the 2304 is the higher version, it doesnt need to be modified as per my research before. Also, after I enabled onboard graphics on my gigabyte board my sonoma was working. Do i need to make changes with my prior setting using the GT 710 to make RX 580 work? I still have a copy of my ventura files. I do apologize for being so noob. I am trying to relearn everything again.

Did you patch using OCLP when you had GT710? If so, revert the patches. Also, what's the GPU VEN ID and Device ID?

Honestly, I cant remember but you were also the one who helped me make the GT 710 to work. I definitely did something as per your instruction but I am not sure if it was patching through OCLP. Here is my GPU's details:
Vendor:  AMD (0x1002)
Device ID:  0x67df

I dont know how to revert patches. I will try to find it in yt but if you have info on how to do it then I surely will appreciate it.

Do you also have default boot arg for RX 580 setting for sonoma? My current setting is acting weird and freezing a bit.

-v alcid=1 watchdog=0 agdpmod=pikera dk.e1000=0 e1000=0 -igfxblr -igfxvesa

This is my sonoma's boot arg but I think this is almost the same with my ventura for the GT 710 gpu.

Run OCLP and click on Post-Install and then click on Revert Root Patches and the patches will be reverted.

RX580 works OOTB and no boot arg is required. 67DF is a native supported card.

You should require any of these boot args except for -v, regardless of macOS version.

Do you want to use IGPU on this machine?

I really dont need IGPU but I have seen that possible fix somewhere to enable IGPU in bios so that hackintosh could boot. I tried to enable IGPU in bios and it made my sonoma OS boot successfully. I will read more on this OCLP step and I will update if I have done it successfully. Btw, will reverting the patches remove my files or programs on the ventura drive?

No, it will just rollback the native kexts and frameworks. The files and programs will be intact.
