Does anything in this guide alter the card itself in any way? I never changed the firmware itself.

So I followed this guide pretty successfully, but upgraded my CPU and now it won't boot. I will have to try to create a new bootloader, but in the meantime I created a new Windows installation. Unfortunately tne card is giving me an error in Device Manager. It comes up as a PCI-to PCU bridge, and gives me a Code31 error. This is with the header, or with 3 and 5 jumpered. I tried uninstalling and installing the drivers from Giaabyte, bupdating to Windows 11, and even mofifying the registry with HackFlag 200, 400, 600.

I am on an Aorus Ultra Gaming x299 MB with a i9-10980XE cup and 96 GB ram.
