GUIDE How to Enable NVIDIA and AMD HDMI/DP Audio [Clover/OpenCore]

Guide is nice but older,can the guide be revised, thanks. I have yet to get my sound to come through my HDMI, HDMI doesn't even show up in my sound properties. I am running Sonoma 14.4.1 with my GT 1030 accelerated, I have sound for head phones and speakers from the motherboard, actually no HDMI showing up at all. I think we have the same issues Medora ... I used a AMD RX 550 and all works, also a GT 730 all works. and Igpu 630 works great, anyways back to GT1030 (108)... I used alcid=11 for all the ALC887. I did ssdt time after the patch and then before the patchl I tried all differerent combinations for several hours. My GT 1030 is from Asus just one HDMI out so I dont have any dps. I see the pcie device used open core confgiurator to add device properties to config.plist with device-id... no change I am too, stumped. The guide says use other port, I just have one.Any help would be great...

I have the same problem as Madura on page 2 with a GT 730 in my case.
He solved his problem, but I don't understand what he did ?!?

I have sound from the motherboard, but Hackintool shows an unknown codec.
I'll post a SS in a few minutes, from the Big Sur machine.

You mean you get the audio via onboard ports but not the GPU (via HDMI/DP). Is that correct?

Guess you're telling me this =>

For a few systems, it may require FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext to enable Graphics and HDMI/DP Audio. However, the use of such is in special cases only.

Not applicable for NVIDIA GPUs. Only Intel.
