I’m a semi-experienced Hackintosh tinkerer, but not very experienced.
I know enough to know that I know nothing.

Well...I recently had a bad turn on my current Hack adventure.
I was upgrading a z97 Gigabyte - Big Sur machine into my latest plan.

OSX Ventura 13.5
OpenCore 0.9.4
Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite AC
Intel Core i9-10850K
XFX Radeon RX580
SMBios: iMac20,2

Unfortunately, I made a few mistakes.
It’s taken me two days to try to formulate my tale and my questions.
So, please bear with me.

It seems that in my upgrade that I didn’t remove the original SSD and included 2 NVME SSDs into the new machine.
Using a USB installer, I installed Ventura OSX on one of the NVMEs and unplugged the original SSD.
(I have since replaced the original SSD with a new unformatted one)
While preparing the computer after the installation, I did something and I was probably moving a little too quickly, because I cannot retrace my steps.

At any rate, afterwards, the NVME will go thru the boot process until the log in screen and the mouse is frozen at the upper left of the screen. No keyboard or mouse activity at all. Dead on the water.

In addition, when I attempt to boot from the USB Installer, I get a repeated...
[AHCI][PRT][00170000] AbortCommands::5381:port 0 - called, deviceWithError 0, errCode = 0xe0030005
then finally, the black screen with white Circle with a Slash through it and the message,
"support.apple.com/mac/startup"

My question(s)...
How should I proceed?
I can't fix the NVME because I can't access it.
I can work with the USB Installer.

Any recommendations?

Many thanks.

Typically a USB issue.

What do you mean by you can't access it? It freezes at the login screen right?

Any recommendations?
Provide the EFI you're using to boot.

Thanks EliteMacx86,

In terms of the NVME, I can't access it because I don't know how to get to edit it. In my mind, it's not a accessible as the USB installer.

But, yes... it freezes at the log in screen.

In terms of the EFI for the NVME, I've been scrambling trying to solve my problems, so I lost track of just when it failed. I've tried to save each version of the EFIs, I've attempted to solve my problems with.

I believe the attached is the last working EFI.

Also, I just did a survey of the various EFIs that I worked on to solve my problems and noticed that the config.plists were no longer inside of the OC folder, but in the EFI folder.
Strange. I have no idea how that happened.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Your configuration is not as per the guide and problems are expected due to that.

EFI is not proper. Is common issue.

Start here:

I have a small problem with this when starting opencore which gives me this AMFIInitializeLocalSigningPublicKey: failed to get local signing public key (e00002bc)

Your configuration is not as per the guide.

LapicKernelPanic is required by all HP systems.
Also, it does not makes any sense to use MacPro7,1 for i3-6100 with IGPU systems only.
